Abstract
Heping Park is located in Shanghai, China. It was built in 1958. The total area is 43.5 acres, and the water area is 8.23 acres. It is a multi-use park with a traditional Chinese landscaped garden.
Heping Park ranks among the top three parks in the main urbanized area of Shanghai. Previously, the park was located in Hongkou District, and it was called Tilan Park to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The original park was also meant to be a sign of a new era that would inspire the next generation.
The new design embodies the concept of urban park design. The original park represented a traditional design that adhered to the basic concept of urban revitalization. The goal is to create a world-class leisure and entertainment destination.
